About TREE SEASONS

Tree Seasons captures the essence of the game and echoes an understanding of what it really means to be a Nottingham Forest supporter.

ABOUT US.

Dedicated to lifelong support of Nottingham Forest, Tree Seasons set its roots as far back as our first game in January 1979, when the mist rolled in and intoxicated us with the ebb and flow of Nottingham Forest, prior to European Cup glory in May of that year.

Decades later, we follow the Tricky Trees as they begin to bloom in the world’s finest football league with a manager who is putting Nottingham on the Premiership map once more.

The idea of Tree Seasons sprouted many years ago as we followed our team through the highs of European football and the lows of League 1 defeats.

We’ve embraced the success of the Brain Clough era, faced corrupt controversy against Anderlecht, witnessed the old Trent End, an F.A. Cup final defeat at the hands of Spurs, relegation, the hope of Frank Clark and Stuart Pearce, and finally, celebrating promotion into the converted, highly prestigious, Premier League, after 23 years of hurt.

The nauseating journeys to away games at Yeovil, Gillingham, and Carlisle on cold, winter evenings are but memories of the past, and a collective aspect of a poet’s vocabulary.

Under the guidance of Evangelos Marinakis, with the watchful eye of Colin Cooper at the helm, we face a new dawn with a new, revitalised red and white army.

Our troops face constant adversity and bombardment as they march into battle with a tsunami of faithful Forest fans at their back, holding up the rear to attack and defend with a force of nature and the dedication of a victorious footballing hero.

Tree Seasons captures the essence of the game and echoes an understanding of what it really means to be a Nottingham Forest supporter.

If you want to be part of this, don’t forget to show your support.

The magic is on and off the pitch

When words just aren’t enough, we have plenty more to say. The Tree Season blog is about the history, the now and the future of the beautiful game and our beloved Nottingham Forest football Team
