If Morgan Gibbs-White’s driving licence was a football team, it would almost have avoided relegation in just one month.
The Nottingham Forest and England midfielder has pleaded guilty to several speeding offences – https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0mrv0rmrgno – after being caught speeding six times on the A52 in the Radcliffe-on-Trent area between December 2024 and February 2025.
Morgan Gibbs-White’s performance Mercedes will be sitting on the bench for a while as he considers alternative forms of transport.
It is likely that Morgan will source a private chauffeur to take him back and forth to training but the Forest playmaker has expressed an interest in public transport as the Nottingham City Transport guys are so f#%in’ friendly.

“My record speed,” continued Gibbs-White, “was 96mph between Stragglethorpe Road and Lings Bar Road. It’s not quite as fast as Anthony Elanga’s goal against VARchester United but it’s certainly faster than the lineman’s flag against Leicester.

“I might actually take the Grifter to the ground to join the others on the team bus. I’ll rock-up about 9am, have a coffee in Bridgford and the driver will allow me to put the bike in the hold haul with my boots. I can use it to do a bit of shopping around London as I’ve got a basket that fits nicely to the handlebars.”
Although Morgan was very nonchalant about the ban, others have described Morgan Gibbs-White’s reckless driving as disgusting as Tottenham’s league position.
