Former Derby County midfielder, Will Hughes, will be 30 in April, meaning that his age will soon exceed his I.Q.
The Crystal Palace flair player who is often described as a tenacious, technically minded playmaker, who always puts in 100%, is also known to be as thick as s#!7.
The fact that Hughes sees himself as a flair player on the same level as his Spanish midfield heroes, Xavi and Andres Iniesta may actually tell you something about his low I.Q.
The number of yellow cards will also soon exceed his I.Q.
“Being beyond stupid may also describe the number of bookings he has accumulated so far this season,” said former Coach Donald Ledbetter. “He showed great potential as a lad and was on the books at Nottingham Forest until we realised that his age would soon exceed his I.Q.
Topping the charts with 10 bookings, Hughes just can’t help himself but get stuck in and mindlessly kick the opposition off the park.
“His low I.Q. may also explain his disciplinary record,” continued Ledbetter, “he thinks he’s being competitive but he just runs around like an idiot and kicks people.”
Another player whose age will soon exceed his I.Q….
Unlike in the late 20th Century, most Premier League footballers are now quite intelligent. They are familiar with the technical aspects of the game, know about food and nutrition, have a vast knowledge of sports science, and have a vocabulary beyond 4,000 words.
The Premier League attracts players from all over the world and many of them are multi-lingual, speaking several different languages on a daily basis – like Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga who speaks Swedish, Spanish and Portuguese.
Even Nuno is said to be a bit of a linguist in the changing room and on the training ground.
Flynn Downes, on the other hand, is another player whose age will soon exceed his I.Q.
Downes can barely speak English but is fluent in bulls#!7. Similar to Will Hughes, the former public schoolboy is also very adept at accumulating yellow cards.
One behind Crystal Palace’s f#@kwit, Will Hughes, Flynn Downes already has nine bookings.
Brentwood School: sexual abuse and professional footballers
Despite attending the prestigious Brentwood School in Essex, Flynn Downes couldn’t tell you if it was New Year or New York.
The school is infamous for sexual abuse scandals involving the Head of Music and the fencing coach and receives further denunciation for the education of Flynn Downes.
At £7000.00 a term, having use of a 25-metre swimming pool, a fitness suite and four squash courts set in 72 acres of majestic countryside, you’d expect the children to be well-educated and have sublime manners.
Not Flynn Downes. The school describes itself as a public school that is selective and independent, and regretfully describes Flynn Downes as someone who ‘must try harder in the leg-up group’.
The former Ipswich Town and Southampton player attended the same posh school as Frank Lampard but has nowhere near the amount of talent or intelligence as the former England midfielder.
Flynn Downes has all the charisma of a whipped apple and all the skill of a Subbuteo player on cocaine.
Taking of Ipswich Town. The Tree Seasons prediction for tonight is Nottingham Forest 4 – Ipswich Town 1.
